Hampton: Bowling Open Play
Let’s roll! Join CLUBWAKA for a free practice night at Sparetimes before our Winter coed league kicks off. This is a great opportunity to come out, meet some new people, play some fun games, and check out what CLUBWAKA Bowling is all about.
We’ll have the lanes reserved starting at 6 PM and all are welcome to participate, 21 and up. This event is FREE. We encourage everyone to bring a canned food or non-perishable item to donate. Let’s restock the Foodbank after a busy holiday season!
We ask that you RSVP on Facebook or Meetup so we can ensure we have enough lanes reserved for the event. We also ask that you follow all appropriate COVID safety guidelines. You must wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking. Please stay home if you are under the weather or have been exposed to someone with COVID.
Sparetimes is the home of our Sunday Night Coed Bowling league. Our Fall season begins on January 17th. If you’re interested in bowling in a really fun 8-week league, sign up at clubwaka.com. Membership includes an 8-week season (shoes and ball rental included as needed), shirt, practice-specials, and league parties.
Hampton: Kickball Open Play
Let’s play kickball! We’ll cover the basics of the game and set up a scrimmage. It’s a good way to try out the sport before committing to a league or if you’re a veteran, come knock the winter rust off!
This event is free and open to all adults over 21. If you are feeling under the weather or have knowingly been exposed to anyone with COVID, please stay home.

CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer
Every October kickballers from all over Virginia come together to play hard, party hard, and most importantly to kick cancer! Join us on Saturday, October 17th for the 8th Annual CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer Charity Tournament! Proceeds from this event will benefit The Sentara Cancer Network Mission Funds.

The Hampton Roads Kickball Cup
Calling all kickball teams in Hampton Roads! Join us on Saturday, August 29th for the Inaugural Hampton Roads Cup Kickball Championships! This is a one-day open competition to crown the best-coed kickball team in the 757. Not only will the winners be the first to raise the Hampton Roads Kickball Cup, but they will also earn a $250 gift card to their favorite CLUBWAKA Sponsor Bar! Additional gift cards and prizes will also be available for teams that demonstrate the best spirit and camaraderie.
FORMAT
· 3 guaranteed pool games followed by single elimination ‘knock-out’ round for top qualifiers.
· Games will be played under CLUBWAKA Kickball Rules
· This is an open tournament, so there are no roster restrictions or qualifications. Each team must have a minimum of 12 players with at least 5 of each gender.
· Prizes: Winners receive a $250 gift certificate to their sponsor bar of choice. Runners-up will receive a $100 certificate. The team named ‘most spirited’ (determined via vote after the event) will earn $250 as well.
· In lieu of cash prizes, we decided to support our fantastic partner bars as they recover from the pandemic shutdowns. We’re fortunate to have so many amazing bars & restaurants supporting us, that we want to give back to a few of them with this tournament.
· Choices include Bucketheads, Guy Fieri’s Pizza Parlor, Stuft, Oozlefinch Beers & Blending, Sly Clyde Ciderworks, Paul’s Deli & Neighborhood Restaurant, The Casual Pint, Billsburg Brewery, County Grill, Paradise Ocean Club, and Sparetimes Bowling.
· Shirts are not included with registration. Players are free to wear any jerseys they prefer. If you’d like to pre-order some sweet custom sublimated ones, we highly recommend our friends at KBS Apparel. They’ll hook you up and have the squad looking right!

Welcome to CLUBWAKA’s Ultimate Game Night Tournament. Teams from all over the country will compete in a double elimination tournament to raise money for their favorite local businesses. All matches will take place online via Zoom. Registration will be open soon for full teams and individual free agents (placement will be on a first come first served).
Registration: July 20 – August 14
Tournament: August 18 – September 17th*
Competition Format: 5v5, each match with variable scoring based on challenges
Schedule Format: Games Tuesday – Thursday, EVENING TIMES (your time zone)*
Tournament Format: Team head to head Double Elimination
Registration: $15 per player
Teams: Minimum 5 players, maximum 8
Platform: Zoom
Prizes: 1st and 2nd place teams will win cash prizes paid out in gift cards/certificates from their local business of choice. Championship shirts will also be provided for the winning team. Final value of prize payouts will be based on total number of participating teams.
Each day select games will be streamed via FB LIVE and YOUTUBE LIVE!
*please note that your team will not have to compete every day. We will work with each team to schedule games at the team’s most convenient times. Teams should expect up to 2 scheduled matches per week, and then increasing in frequency near the final week of tournament play. We will coordinate with all teams to make sure to avoid any forfeits.
